No, you are not obligated to inform us about your employer during a video meeting. Your privacy is important to us, and we respect your right to confidentiality. However, if you purchase the service aLex Process and wish for legal assistance, we will need information about the other party to conduct a conflict of interest check and provide appropriate assistance. Your privacy and confidentiality are always prioritized.

How can I get help with my questions about job shortage?

As an employer needing to manage layoffs due to operational reasons, you can easily book video meetings with lawyers through aLex Lawyer. For documents related to this purpose, aLex Docu can be helpful. If you require a process lawyer for negotiations, including with the union, you can take advantage of the aLex Process service. For employees who have been laid off due to operational reasons, both aLex Lawyer for advice and aLex Process for legal support are beneficial.

Are there any geographic restrictions for using aLex services?

Currently, a Swedish BankID or a Swedish phone number is required to register on the platform. However, we plan to enable access for individuals outside of Sweden or those without a Swedish BankID or phone number to use the platform within the year.

aLex uses secure systems and protocols to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or unauthorized alteration. aLex is available as a mobile application, which can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. Additionally, starting from May 2024, a web-based version called aLex Web will be available to facilitate bookings and purchases of services directly through the web.

Can I book multiple video meetings in a row?

Yes, you can book multiple video meetings in succession if desired. We are here to provide you with the support and guidance you need, and if you have more questions or issues to discuss, you are welcome to book additional meeting times.

What is the cost of a video meeting?

A video meeting with an employment law attorney on the aLex platform lasts for 30 minutes and costs 499 Swedish kronor.

What do I need to consider after being dismissed?

When you have been dismissed, it is crucial to act swiftly. There are deadlines to adhere to if you plan to pursue your case through a nullity and/or damages claim. With aLex Lawyer, you can receive legal advice and guidance on the procedures you must follow after being dismissed.
